From hollywoodreporter.com:
Big stars from the small screen are heading to Monte Carlo in June for the 48th annual Monte Carlo Television Festival.
Monaco’s Prince Albert II will preside over the sun-soaked event where TV series, telefilms and reality and entertainment programs from across the globe will compete for the coveted Golden Nymph prizes.
Ivan Solovov’s telefilm “Father” will screen opening night before the kickoff of this year’s special events, which include premiere screenings of TF1’s police comedy “Hold-Up a L’Italienne,” Signature Entertainment’s “Say It in Russian,” episodes of France Televisions’ popular daily soaps “Plus Belle la Vie” (France 3) and “Cinq Soeurs” (France 2), and episodes of U.S. series “October Road” as part of cable network Serie Club’s 15th anniversary celebration.
American stars flying in for the event include Evangeline Lilly and Naveen Andrews from “Lost,” Eric Close of “Without a Trace,” David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel of “Bones,” Tate Donovan and Ted Danson from “Damages” and Miranda Otto, Frances O’Connor and Bonnie Somerville of “Cashmere Mafia.”
The fest, which runs June 8-12, will wrap with the Golden Nymph ceremony, followed by a gala dinner sponsored by NBC Universal and UTA.
